Taylor Swift made a dazzling appearance at the world premiere of her Eras Tour concert film in Los Angeles on Thursday, October 11th. The mega star, who is on a break from her super successful run of shows, posed for the cameras and the energy, shall we say, was electric.
Swift was dressed in a light blue Oscar de la Renta dress with lace decal. She had her hair pinned up to give the illusion of a bob.
Ahead of the big event, Swift went on Instagram to give followers a surprise: the film would start playing earlier than its October 13th release date.
“Due to unprecedented demand, we’re opening up early access showings of the Eras Tour concert film on Thursday in America and Canada,” she wrote. “We’re also adding additional show times Friday and throughout the weekend. All tickets will be available by 10:00 a.m. tomorrow morning and it’ll be showing starting Friday in 90 countries all over the world.”
“I can’t thank you enough for wanting to see this film that so vividly captures my favorite adventure I’ve ever been a part of, the Eras Tour,” she continued. “And the best part is it’s an adventure we’re still on together.”
Swift also added that she was “getting in the car now” to head to the premiere.
The Eras Tour concert film features footage from three of Swift’s SoFi Stadium shows in August. It is set to be released in theaters on Friday, October 13th.
