ISRO Releases Stunning Video of Pragyan Rover Rolling on Moon’s South Pole!

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has released a new video of the Pragyan Rover moving on the surface of the moon. The video was taken by the Chandrayaan-3 Orbiter and shows the Rover rolling along the lunar surface.

The Pragyan Rover is a six-wheeled robotic vehicle that is designed to explore the south pole of the moon. It is equipped with a variety of scientific instruments, including cameras, spectrometers, and a drill, which will be used to study the lunar surface and subsurface.

The Rover was deployed from the Chandrayaan-3 Orbiter on September 7, 2023. It has been moving slowly and steadily since then, and the new video shows that it is in good condition and operating as expected.

The video also shows the Rover’s surroundings, which are a barren and rocky landscape. The Rover is expected to spend the next few months exploring this region, collecting data and sending it back to Earth.

The successful deployment of the Pragyan Rover is a major milestone for the Chandrayaan-3 mission. It is the first time that a rover has been deployed on the moon’s south pole, and it is expected to provide valuable insights into this region.

The Chandrayaan-3 mission is a joint project of ISRO and the Russian Space Agency. It was launched on July 14, 2023, and the Orbiter entered lunar orbit on August 23, 2023. The Lander and Rover were then deployed on September 6 and 7, respectively.

The mission is expected to last for one year, and it is expected to make significant contributions to our understanding of the moon. The Pragyan Rover is a key part of the mission, and its successful deployment is a major success.
