Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX, has responded to a post by Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google, on the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon.
Pichai had tweeted, “What an incredible moment! Congratulations to @isro for the successful landing of #Chandrayaan3 on the moon. Today India became the first country to successfully achieve a soft landing on the southern polar region of the moon.”
Musk responded by tweeting, “Super cool!”
Musk’s response was met with mixed reactions. Some people praised him for his support of India’s space program, while others criticized him for not doing enough to promote his own company’s achievements.
Chandrayaan-3 is India’s third lunar mission. The mission was launched on July 22, and it successfully landed on the Moon on August 23. The mission is a major milestone for India’s space program, and it has put India in the league of only a few countries that have successfully landed on the Moon.

SpaceX is a private American aerospace manufacturer and space transport services company founded by Elon Musk in 2002. The company is developing the Starship spacecraft, which is designed to carry humans to Mars.
The response by Musk to Pichai’s post is a sign of the growing competition between SpaceX and India’s space program. Both companies are vying to be the leader in the future of space exploration.
