BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya has come under fire for his response to a video of a teacher in Uttar Pradesh making children slap a classmate as punishment.
In the video, the teacher can be seen making the children line up and slap the classmate, who is sitting on the ground. The children are clearly reluctant to do so, but the teacher insists.
Malviya tweeted the video with the caption, “Terrible idea, but… at least the teacher is trying to instill some discipline in the kids.”
